In any OS, winblows, Linux, OSx, is there any 'recent' tool for analyzing cached webmail?
www.m2cfg.com has a tool but it is so old that the file extension and format is looks for is no longer used by mozilla.
I went looking for what is was looking for and found nothing. Heck, I am not even sure what file yahoo is storing the data in now....?
I would love a class/knowledge on this issue from someone!

Greetings,

If you're still looking for forensics tool for recovering/analyzing cached web mail, chat applications, and instant messenger, you should check out Magnet Forensics Internet Evidence Finder. You can recover data from 265+ types of Internet Artifacts, on Windows and Mac computers.

Cheers,

aortiz
