I don't get the same info I used to get from the program. I used to get the entire page source when I dissected a link and if there was something flagged it showed in the code. I did get the popup saying there was an executable in the link but nothing else.

vURL Desktop Edition v0.2.9 Results

Source code for: http://freelindens-4-u.notlong.com

Server IP: [ Invalid IP was passed to me ]

hpHosts Status: Not Listed

MDL Status: Not Listed

PhishTank Status: Not Listed

Date: Monday, April 28, 2008

Time: 11:39:48:39

*****************************************************************

That's all I get now for any links I dissect. Do I have settings wrong?

If it comes up with;

Code:
Server IP: [ Invalid IP was passed to me ]

It means it could not resolve the domain.

For all others, you can rule out a problem with the program by trying to dissect it using the alternate MS XML method, instead of the default URLDownloadToFile method (some site's will work fine with one but not the other).

Alternatively, try deleting the config (.ini) file, and trying again.

I can when I get an AC adapter for my lappy. I fried it yesterday and have ordered a replacement, but estimated arrival is 5/5, likely I'll be a total nut case from withdrawal by then. My desktop won't even turn on. No idea why.

Is this the error you are still receiving? (if so, have you tried 0.3.0?)

This is an old error thread. I just unzipped the newest version and get the error in the screen shot.

It isn't, no.

OCX are ActiveX files. In the case of richtx32.ocx, this file is required to provide the textbox with color coding and formatting.
