Wrote the first part of this last year, and updated it several times since.

1. Includes registry modification to allow context menu option ("MD5Search")

When selected, this sends the MD5 of the selected file, to Google

2. Includes GUI

The GUI has a few more features including;

1. Scan drive/folder and list MD5 of each file found (option also included to ONLY scan for executables)
2. Save list to file
3. Copy all files to specified folder
4. Context menu with the usual copy options (copy selected MD5, copy all details of selected item etc, send MD5 to Google or Bing)

It's not got its own icon yet, so apologies in advance for the horrid looking icon.

A few bug fixes, and a new feature (friend requested it, and figured it would be best incorporated into this, rather than a separate program)

Lots of new updates and tweaks, including support for SHA1 and 256 (didn't see a need to add encryption support, so left that out). It also now has the ability to auto-create .7z archives if required (and password protected if necessary).

Fixed an issue with the batch file

Fixed a runtime error (my fault for not checking perms etc etc prior to creating the logs and storage folders)

Added the ability to selectively enable/disable the hashes/logs (see the Tools menu)

Yes it's still basic, and yes it still doesn't have an icon of its own (I still suck at graphics :( ), but want to get it finalised before concerning myself with that.

Whilst modifying the program last time, to allow renaming the files, I forgot to updated the original copying routine (i.e. copying but not renaming the file). It would still copy the file, but didn't check for a slash at the end of the path - it does now.

Fixed: Header column wasn't saved (forgot to account for it when the new columns were added)
Fixed: Couple other minor bug fixes

Added: Save as CSV

Also modified the routines slightly to try and improve the speed (also additional debugging to try and detect where the slowdown is being caused (thought at first it was the hashing, but seems not, so not quite sure, given it flies through them when hashing is completely turned off ..... got a feeling it's the Crypto API's (only one that doesn't use it, is the SHA256 routine that uses pure VB), going to do a little more debugging/benchmarking, given I've a few more features I want to add, but not until the speed issue is sorted out - did provide for a nice little break from work though)
