So I created the batch file and then rebooted. Unfortunately the files are still there even after selecting the WinLogon option! Why is this? What should I do?

I should note that after the restart, a security related dialog box popped up asking if I actually wanted to run the batch file. I clicked "Run" so apparently it did run.

It's most likely something interfered with the process whilst it was running (highly likely to be the security software running on your machine). Sadly this seems to be becoming common, and I'm still trying to pin down the update that's caused it, and a work-around for it.

Can you tell me which version of Windows you are running, and what security software you're running please?
