Like free? Like Paragon Software? Good!

With special thanks to Paragon Software, I've got 15 licences to give away for their Virtual Machine 2010 Professional software.

All you need to do, to take part, is try Go Virtual (the free version of VM 2010 Pro) and post your thoughts and suggestions, for example;

1. What you like about the program
2. What you don't like
3. How you feel it could be improved

You can find Go Virtual at the following URL if you don't already have it;

http://www.paragon-software.com/home/go-virtual/

Just reply to this thread with your thoughts and suggestions, to take part. The competition will run until August 31st and the winners chosen by myself.

Competition rules

1. Only one entry per person
2. All entries must be posted to this thread (you do NOT have to be an hpHosts user). Entries (website/e-mail etc) elsewhere will be disqualified.
3. All entries must be in plain text (either directly in the post, or as an attached .txt file)
4. All entries must be in English (sorry folks, it's the only language I know)
5. Keep it honest, but clean! (if there's profanity, it will be disqualified)

If you'd like a licence for VM 2010 Pro, but don't want to take part in the competition, all Paragon Software have asked, is that you join their PTAC (Paragon Technology Advisory Council).

I have a few Gremlins inside the OP Sys of my machine and l have to be carefull that these anomalies don't affect Paragon Virtual.
Not to sure whether to go for P2V Copy or P2V Adust OP as a first move? Will go to the Paragon info and read-up.

Sadly, l must withdraw from the competion.
I am simply not computer savvy enough to know what l am doing with Paragon Virtual.
My fault.

I downloaded and installed the free version on my machine.

I did several conversion with it and didn't encounter any problems, it's pretty easy to use. (no need to get a Phd first :lol: )

It only has a subset of the features of the full version, so a lot of options can't be tested.

There are some items that, I feel ,would be nice to have.

One thing is the option to filter out specific files/directories to be excluded from the conversion. (by extension or wildcard match)

Another thing that would be nice is the ability to convert a physical machine from a shutdown state by means of a bootable CD.

It's a great product and I might suggest this to my Manager, since we will be doing a lot of migrations in the near future.
