If the hostname is failing to resolve, there are several possible reasons;

1. The domain was temporarily down at the time of the query
2. The domain is undergoing DNS updates (probably awaiting propogation)
3. The domain is no longer in use
4. My DNS server was unable to resolve the domain
5. A timeout occured whilst trying to resolve the domain

In these cases, you can check this via two alternative sources;

1. DNSStuff

2. OpenDNS Cache check

3. RobTex

If you find the WhoIs or net-block information that's found for the hostname/IP is incorrect (i.e. John Doe is displayed as owner instead of Jane Doe), please do let me know. Occurances of this are extremely rare, but are not unheard of.
