Don't see a place on the website to actually vote, but my friend and I both use the HP Hostsfile and website. Unlike some of the other
hostsfiles, we appeciate that you take the time to regularly cull the dead links & that the file is often updated.

We also use our own personal hostfile blocks together with a combination of most others online. PSpad (to easily edit 127.0.0.1 tab &
space diffs in other hostsfiles, to find files & dups, delete, sort, add 127..to any urls etc) in combo with ExamDiff (to find changes incl. deads that have been removed from any previous hostsfiles), makes it simple to edit & keep all up to date. Keep up the excellent work.

i voted for both, but i dont know what you mean by using hphosts online, i am visiting it, yes. i use spybot hosts mvps hosts and hphosts, i like hphosts best because we can submit malicious sites and in that way better protect ourself and other people and hphosts seems to block more ads than the others. how many is using hphosts? how much downloads does it have? do you have a way to know if someone is using hostsman to download hphosts? how many?

i like the forum because everyone here is so friendly, and you mysteryfcm is doing a good job with all the software and the hostsfile you make Very Happy

Cheers blue Smile

By hpHosts Online, I meant using the website Smile

I don't track downloads, so have no way of knowing how many use it or how many downloads it gets. Similarly, whilst my server logs would tell me how many use Hostsman, I've no interest in tracking it so have no idea how many use it.

The hpHosts file is one of the more accurate hosts files available. All entries are verified, dead sites are removed, does not make massive copies from other files, and contains few entries that I do not want to block.

Quoting Rodney, this why I use both. Excellent work being done here.

Even if you tracked downloads you wouldn't have a totally accurate number, because it's hosted at other sites also.

I used to use the MVPs Hosts file because I prefer a smaller file but it hasn't been updated in over a month, so I switched back to HP.
