I do have a question about Orca, though. I was looking into it a few weeks ago, but everything seemed out of date (last release was in December of 2009, almost a year ago)... Is Orca still being developed, or has it been left to die in order to continue development for Avant?

Sadly, Orca was discontinued. Avant now includes the Trident, Gecko and WebKit/Chrome engines.
