Hello all !

First of all, I'd like to congratulate the developers of this sowftware and hosts file...

But...

Why have you chosen to block and enter in the hosts file the myspace website, which is really free of viruses, trojans or anything else whoch could be bad for a computer ?

I don't understand this choice at all : each time I wanna go on this website I must turn off the Hosts file ! Crying or Very sad

Can you in the next update erase everything regarding to myspace domain ?

Best regards,

Alexander

Welcome to the forums Smile

MySpace.com is in hpHosts for two main reasons;

1. It is a current vector of malware infections

This is caused mainly by poor security on the part of the MySpace developers, and poor password choices on the part of it's users, allowing for the "bad guys" to hijack user accounts and other such, for the purposes of infecting people's computers.

2. It is a known haunt for perverts and other bad guys

... and unfortunately, thats not even the half of it. Until they beef up their security, and implement changes to protect against both of the above, they will not be getting removed.
